Sydney, November 17, 2009. – Imperva®, the data security leader, today announced the appointment of Seccom Global, one of Asia Pacific’s fastest growing information security providers (MSSPs), in a partnership covering Australia, New Zealand and more than a dozen other nations worldwide.
Seccom will offer Imperva’s SecureSphere data security suite and database firewall solutions to a broad spectrum of markets, ranging from Fiji through India to China, as well as the UK, USA and Canada. Full APAC market coverage also includes the Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Korea, Japan and Indonesia.
According to Seccom’s Chief Information Officer, Gavin Matthews, the company expanded its client base by 24 per cent over the past year.
Matthews said: “We are confident of bettering that growth during the coming year, as we expand our expertise further into the cloud computing space. Over the coming month we will be announcing a number of partnerships with leaders in this technology.”

With an increasing number of clients asking for US-based services the company has been seeking the right US partner to expand operations into the significantly larger US market.
