Michael Shine

Director

Michael Shine has been founding and developing successful businesses since the late 90’s. After graduating from Bond University in 1993, Michael spent a short stint working for FAI Insurance and then AC Nielson within the Marketing and Market Research Departments. He then ventured out on his own in 1999 to found Shine Development and Shine Holdings as he grew his self managed property and investment portfolios. In 2004 he joined the Seccom (then Seccom Networks) to bolster the management team alongside Gavin Matthews and Michael Demery. Whilst still working full time for Seccom Global in 2006 Michael added to his portfolio and invested in the now very successful Detail for Men.

Michael has played a critical role in supporting and managing the growth within Seccom Global that has been driven by Gavin Matthews vision and Michael Demerys sales strengths. Working together they have dreamed, designed, implemented and taken to market those products which now set Seccom Global apart from its competitors.

Gavin Matthews

Director & Founder

Gavin Matthews is a managed services industry specialist with over 10 years industry experience. Gavin has been recognised by vendors and industry analysts as a thought leader in security services. His foresight and unconventional approach has led to the innovation of disruptive productised services that have benefited companies around the globe.

Gavin has been instrumental in developing Seccom’s market leading managed services portfolio which has been developed around client’s needs as opposed to vendor deliverables. Before founding Seccom he held a State Management Role with Powerlan Limited an Infrastructure Services company based in NSW. Prior to Powerlan, he was National Sales & Marketing Manager for Philips Car Systems and also spent time with Sanitarium developing their Space Management Program.

Michael Demery

Director

Sales Director Over the past two decades, Michael Demery has worked, trained and managed across the information security and technology sector for established vendors such as Checkpoint, Alteon, Biodata and Fortinet. Industry accredited, Michael’s previous experience extends from managing the network security of Deloitte Touché Tohmatsu Australia and United Kingdom, to employment as Head Technologist with Biodata Australia.

Michael currently heads up the sales division at Seccom Global, developing and managing Seccom’s channel to add many of Asia Pacific’s leading brand name organisations as Seccom partners.

Erl Boger

With over eight years in managing retail supermarket stores, Erl most recently was the Sales Manager for one of Australia's fastest growing and market leading Vodafone Dealerships. With a impressive list of clientele Erl joined the Seccom Global team with a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm. Erl has a strong background in the management of successful sales teams and plays a key role in developing customer relations and expanding Seccom Global's business operations.
